Homeland is seeking a friendly part-time Cashier to join our frontline team in Cordell, OK. The role focuses on delivering top-notch customer service while accurately processing purchases and maintaining a clean register area.

You will greet customers, operate the cash register, scanner, and scale, handle coupons and payments, and help bag items. The position supports store safety and loss prevention and reports to the Front-End or Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with ability to greet and assist customers.
• Basic mathematics skills for cash handling and change.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a retail or food service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and ring out all customers politely.
• Process customer purchases quickly and accurately using the cash register, scanner and scale.
• Clean register area and maintain clean work environment.
• Prevent loss by careful handling of money and merchandise and proper coupon usage.
• Ensure safety by following store rules and reporting hazards.
• Bag purchases quickly and correctly and manage various payment methods.
