Job summary

Marukai in Irvine, CA is seeking part-time Cashiers to join our Customer Service team. You will greet customers, process purchases, handle returns, and assist with store displays while delivering premier service in a grocery retail setting. Shifts include Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Must be 18 or older, able to lift up to 20 pounds, read and write numbers, and comply with safety guidelines. Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math and reading ability for transactions and coupons.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide premier customer service and respond to questions.
• Process purchases, returns, and exchanges quickly and accurately.
• Maintain store displays and organize shelves per planograms.
• Open/close registers and handle cash as assigned.
• Assist customers with product location and support promotional activities.
