Job summary

Schnucks Washington is seeking a part-time checker to deliver friendly, reliable service at the register. You will greet customers, scan items, and process payments including cash, credit, EBT, and WIC while maintaining accurate register records and cash security.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and adherence to store procedures. Training will be provided at store level.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Greet customers prior to checking their order and check out purchases accurately.
• Identify produce items and proper use of produce/product codes.
• Process various payment methods (cash, checks, debit/credit, EBT, WIC).
• Complete register records accurately and maintain cash security.
• Bag customer orders and handle receipt/coupon tapes.
• Other duties as assigned by store management.
