Job summary

The Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly Cashier to ring up merchandise at the POS and assist customers with product questions. You will greet guests, maintain knowledge of current promotions, stock shelves when not scanning, and promote CLUB Membership and in-store pickup.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree required: High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to operate computerized POS register system.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Check out merchandise through POS registers and handle cash.
• Provide product knowledge and make buying recommendations.
• Promote programs such as CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up.
• Stock and straighten shelves when not ringing up product.
