Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and scanner for grocery products, including produce, frozen foods, dairy, and meats.
• Process financial transactions accurately, including cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, rain checks, voids, and coupons.
• Weigh and bag customer purchases, ensuring proper product identification and pricing.
• Maintain store displays, merchandise check-stand, and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and security policies.
• Communicate store programs, in-store promotions, and coupons to customers, modeling high service standards.
• Assist with stocking, handle damaged or spoiled products, and follow all PPE, food safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned, including possible duties in other departments.
