Role Summary: This position involves operating the cash register and electronic scanner to process customer transactions, handle various payment methods, and assist with bagging purchases while delivering courteous service. It includes responsibilities such as weighing and bagging items, understanding equipment operation, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

Key Duties

• Operate cash register, scanner, and other front-end equipment accurately.
• Process payments (cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, etc.) in accordance with policies.
• Weigh, bag, and verify product pricing and signage accuracy.
• Communicate store programs, promotions, and coupons to customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and security standards.
• Maintain a tidy, well-stocked department and assist with stocking as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines, food safety protocols, and guest experience standards.
• Perform additional tasks across departments based on customer needs.

Physical Requirements
