Base pay range

$15.25/hr - $15.25/hr

This is a part-time position. Primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service by satisfying customer needs, exceeding expectations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Responsibilities include following proper bagging procedures, assisting with carryout and parcel pickup, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and returning shopping carts to the store.

Qualifications and Skills

• Personal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Effective in presenting information to customers and associates who speak only English.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Certificates and Licenses: Complete company's training including orientation, customer service, safety, bagging skills, and product knowledge.

Physical Demands

The physical demands include standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, and smelling. Occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and reach from 6 to 72 inches. Vision abilities include close vision and depth perception.

Work Environment

Work may involve exposure to humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and cold temperatures. Noise level is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Compensation
