Job Description

Service Opportunity: CPSD is looking for a highly skilled carpenter to primarily work on school doors and associated hardware, locks, keys, etc. at least two days a week until 12/31/2026. Other carpentry tasks may be assigned and performed as priorities arise.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of carpentry experience.
• Extensive knowledge of door hardware, locks, door closers, key cutting, and other locksmith tasks desirable.
• Proficiency in framing, sheetrocking, taping, mudding, sanding, painting, woodworking, etc.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of hazardous communications and ability to work around asbestos (preferable).

Contract Details

• Length of contract: July 6, 2026 through December 31, 2026
• Contract amount: Not exceed $20,309.12
• Hourly rate: Dependent upon collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. Non‑exempt employees working more than 40 hours per week will be paid time and a half for hours over 40.
