Job summary

Newport Beach Memory Care is seeking compassionate staff to support residents with daily living activities, meals, and mobility assistance in a respectful, safe environment.

As part of the care team, you will identify residents, document care using approved abbreviations, and report changes to the nurse promptly. You will help with beds, transports, and maintaining a warm, supportive atmosphere on each shift.

Qualifications

• No specific degree required; ability to follow facility policies.
• Willingness to learn and perform care tasks as trained.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristbands or photo cards before handling care tasks.
• Record information using authorized abbreviations and flow sheets.
• Escort residents to rooms and assist with daily activities and meals.
• Assist with transfers, bed making, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse.
