Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate CNA, HCA, or Caregiver to provide in-home care for a client in Seattle, WA. You will support daily living activities, follow the care plan, and communicate with the family and care team to ensure comfort, independence, and quality of life.

This part-time position offers a consistent weekday daytime schedule (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM) with approximately 20 hours per week and competitive compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current, active Washington CNA or HCA credential required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful and dependable caregiving approach.
• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and dressing as needed.
• Support safe ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and activities.
• Provide companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or behavior.
• Communicate effectively with client, family, and care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Respond to emergencies and unusual situations as needed.
