Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers for the Yakima area, serving Cle Elum, Roslyn, Ronald and surrounding locations. You will support clients with daily living activities, transportation, and companionship in their homes.

We offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling, paid orientation and training, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing support from a caring team. Qualifications include a valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide companionship and engage in daily activities and hobbies.
• Drive clients to stores, appointments, or errands (mileage reimbursed).
• Light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report on client condition to the care team.

Our Yakima branch looking for caregivers who live in Cle Elum, Roslyn, Ronald and surrounding locations. We have a client specifically in the Ronald, WA area.

We do ask that you have a Driver's License, Auto Insurance and vehicle as our clients require assistance with transportation + we reimburse .60 cents per mile!

Pay: $18-$20/hr with shift differentials going up to $21.50/hr!

Current needs:

• Caregivers who are available on weekends
• Day, Swing (NO overnights)
• Caregivers who have Nurse Delegation Certification.
• Shifts vary from 4 to 6 hours. (i.e. 8a-12p, 1p-7p, 4p-6p etc.)
• Caregivers who are able to transport clients in their vehicle to appointments or grocery shopping + we reimburse mileage!

What will you do as an In Home Caregiver?

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.
