Silverado Alexandria is hiring Caregivers to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and memory-related conditions. Join a compassionate team focused on dignity, joy, and meaningful moments.

This part-time evening shift offers paid training, benefits eligibility, and opportunities for growth. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other memory impairments preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicators in verbal and written English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk/bend as part of daily tasks.
• Comfortable around animals and pets.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Schedule: Part Time, PM shift, Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Anticipated pay range

$19 - $22 USD
