Job summary

Silverado Encinitas, a memory care innovator, is hiring Caregivers to provide hands-on support to residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. This part-time role blends empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia care preferred.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• English communication skills (verbal/written).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents.
• Comfortable around animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members

• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
