Job summary

Silverado is hiring Caregivers in Encinitas, California, to provide compassionate support to residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory-impairing conditions. The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and relationship-building within a caring team.

Responsibilities include daily living assistance, building relationships with residents and families, maintaining accurate care records, and reporting changes to the nursing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Schedule: Full Time, NOC shift, Sunday - Wednesday

Anticipated pay range

$22 — $24 USD
