Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Caregiver in West Seattle, WA. You will provide in-home support to help maintain comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life for the client.

We value caregivers who are dependable, capable of following a care plan, and able to work independently. CPR certification is preferred/required as applicable. Flexible scheduling and room for growth are offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Assist with ambulation inside and outside the home.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and activities.
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Assist with shopping and errands when needed.
• Monitor and communicate changes in client’s condition.
• Communicate with client, family, nurses, and care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Respond to emergencies or unusual situations.

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care –is looking for a compassionate, dependable Part-Time Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in West Seattle, WA.

Position Details

Location: West Seattle, WA
Position: Part-Time Caregiver
Pay: $21.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Part-time; scheduling details discussed during the interview

What You'll Do

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility

• Assist with ambulation inside and outside the home

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements

• Provide medication reminders as directed

• Assist with prescribed exercises and recommended activities

• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement

What We're Looking For

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required

• CPR certification from the American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable

• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable

• Able to work independently and follow a care plan

• Comfortable with meal preparation and basic housekeeping

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Physically able to perform caregiving duties

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Successful background check and reference verification
