Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Riverside is seeking a part-time Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and companionship. The shift is Thursday through Saturday from 6am to 2pm, with pay of $18 to $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• First Aid, CPR, and Medication Management Certifications required (state-dependent).
• Food Handler’s Card preferred; training provided if not held.
• Nurses Aide Certification preferred unless required by state.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining independence, dignity, safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Read shift reports and ISP updates at start of each shift.
• Complete assigned resident tasks and ISP duties during shift.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, and incontinence care.
• Support residents in mealtimes and safe movement with proper lifting techniques.
• Ensure safety checks and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Provide transportation assistance to meals, activities, and appointments.
• Engage residents in wellness activities and social programs.
• Maintain cleanliness and laundry tasks for residents and the community.
