Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA or Home Health Aide certification.
• Level 2 AHCA background screening/fingerprinting is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Alzheimer’s and dementia training is preferred.
• HIV/AIDS training is preferred.
• OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogens training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Providing mobility and transfer assistance.
• Preparing meals and encouraging hydration.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Completing light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assisting with errands and transportation.
• Providing companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Following each client’s individualized care plan.
• Observing and reporting changes or concerns to the office.
• Completing shift documentation accurately.
• Maintaining client confidentiality.

Qualifications
