Horizon Project, Inc. is seeking part-time Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with IDD in homes and during community outings in Oregon. You will provide direct care to clients living in 24/7 group homes and in supported living apartments, ensuring safety, health, and fulfillment.

Shifts include weekday swing and graveyard, plus weekend day and graveyard; hours average less than 30 per week. Starting pay is $16–$18.50 per hour, DOE, with full pay scale $16–$22.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check required by Oregon DHS.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
• Must communicate clearly in English (Verbal & Written).
• Must have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record (for client transportation in company vehicle).

Responsabilités

• Medication administration for clients.
• Basic housekeeping for clients' homes.
• Provide personalized care tailored to each client.
• Assist with client finances and petty cash.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, and personal care.
• Prepare meals, cleaning, and laundry.
• Use a computer to complete daily documentation.
• Accompany clients to stores, museums, libraries, events.

Starting Pay: $16 - $18.50 per hour, DOE

Description: Horizon Project is a non-profit that helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) support adults with IDD in their homes and on community outings. As a DSP, you’ll provide direct care to clients living in 24/7 group homes and in supported living apartments. Our goal is to make sure our clients are safe, healthy, and fulfilled. DSPs also help the clients go on community outings like the county fair, museum, or concerts. Make a difference in someone''s life today!

Part-Time Work Schedule

We are looking for part-time employees with the availability to pick up shifts within the following availability windows. This is a part-time job so your hours will average less than 30 hours per week, unless otherwise arranged with your direct supervisor.

• Weekday swing shift


• Weekday graveyard shift


• Weekend day shift


• Weekend graveyard shift

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Client medication administration


• Basic house cleaning


• Provide personalized care designed to meet each client''s needs


• Assist with client financials and petty cash


• Help the client bathe, go to the bathroom, and brush their teeth


• Cooking, cleaning, and laundry


• Use a computer to complete daily documentation


• Go with clients to the store, museum, library, county fair, or music concerts, etc.
