Job summary

Saga Senior Living in Stockton, CA is seeking a part-time Resident Care Technician to provide hands-on, compassionate care to residents. The role includes helping with daily activities, supporting independence and dignity, and building meaningful connections with residents and families.

The position offers competitive pay of $16.90–$19.00 per hour with credit for experience, weekend and holiday rotations, and a range of benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience (professional or in-home).
• Senior living experience preferred.
• Availability for weekend and holiday rotation.
• A patient, caring and dependable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Keep residents safe and comfortable while promoting dignity and independence.
• Watch for changes in residents’ physical or cognitive condition, and report concerns to nurses.
• Document the care you provide and keep families and team members informed.
• Support residents with extra care needs, such as memory loss, with patience and understanding.
• Engage residents in activities that support mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
