Job summary

Harpers Station of Yorktown is seeking part-time caregivers to enhance the SRIM resident experience with compassionate, respectful care. Shifts include 8- and 12-hour options (AM & PM), covering daily living activities, dining assistance, light housekeeping, and laundry while encouraging independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, reporting health changes, and engaging residents in activities per the calendar.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including ADLs, meal service, light housekeeping and laundry.
• Serve residents in dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; observe and report changes to supervisor.
• Participate in leisure activities and follow activity calendar.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and privacy; sign residents out when leaving the community.
