Job summary

Sevita, REM Community Services, seeks a part-time caregiver in Toledo, OH to support individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist with personal care, community participation, and goal-oriented activities while maintaining compassionate, patient service.

Shifts are varied (drop-in, part-time or potential full time), and a valid driver’s license with a clean record is required to meet Sevita’s insurability policy. Pay is $17.00 per hour with benefits options where applicable.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition to meet goals.
• Support participants to participate in community activities and daily living tasks.
