Job summary

Silverado in Lee's Summit, MO, is hiring compassionate Caregivers to support residents living with Alzheimer's and dementia in a memory care setting. The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments each day.

You'll provide hands-on daily living assistance, maintain care records, and work with a team during a part-time AM shift (6:00am–2:30pm) with every-other weekend, earning an anticipated pay range of $18–$21 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia care is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to fulfill attendance expectations.
• Clear English communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Build relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Schedule: Part Time, AM shift, every other Saturday and Sunday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
