Job summary

Happier at Home Care in Buckingham, PA, seeks a Part-Time Caregiver to support an elderly male client with dementia in overnight care. Experience in caregiving is preferred, and there is potential to pursue full-time work or CNA certification down the line.

You will perform personal care with dignity, prepare meals, assist with mobility, and provide companionship while maintaining safety and privacy. Training opportunities and supportive supervision are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver, HHA, PCA, or similar role preferred (training available for the right heart).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or commitment to earn within 30 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow all safety protocols.
• Clear, compassionate communicator who respects client privacy.
• Reliable, punctual, and passionate about enriching everyday life for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers.
• Prepare simple meals, tidy living spaces, and light laundry.
• Support mobility and therapist-approved stretches.
• Provide medication reminders and note wellness changes.
• Offer companionship through conversation, activities, and outings.
