Job summary

Lone Star College CyFair in Cypress, TX, is seeking a part-time Career Coach to deliver career services to students, including coaching, assessments, and program support.

You will track participation, collaborate across campus, and support events and communications to enhance student career readiness. A bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of related experience are required. The role offers a student-focused, supportive work environment and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide career coaching to help students explore options, set goals and make informed decisions.
• Administer career exploration assessments and help students interpret results.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and collect career data.
• Assist directors in planning and supporting academic and career-related communication, programming, and events.
• Collaborate with campus departments to integrate career readiness into campus life.
• Monitor processes and materials for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Collect and track student data to support delivery of career services.
• Deliver presentations on career services on campus.
• Refer students to campus resources and community organizations as needed.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.
