Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Cedar Rapids, IA to join our maintenance team on a part-time days schedule. The role supports keeping our skilled nursing facilities safe, clean, and comfortable for residents across approximately 40+ communities in Iowa.

You will perform routine maintenance, monitor building systems, and help with snow removal and general upkeep while following safety policies and supporting inspections and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and complete assignments timely.
• Interest in creating and maintaining a home-like atmosphere for residents.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with heavy cleaning, floor care, and facility upkeep when needed.
