Job summary

Avamere Rogue Valley is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean and sanitary environment in a long-term care facility. Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, floors, and linens, following daily work assignments and infection control procedures.

The role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals who can work 6am-2pm on Wednesdays and Fridays with on-call duties as needed. Avamere offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Experience with various cleaning methods and equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate with staff and follow instructions.
• Able to work collaboratively with other staff members.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean bathrooms, floors, carpets, walls and ceilings; remove dirt and disinfect surfaces.
• Coordinate routine cleaning after residents leave or discharge, and dispose of waste daily.
