Job summary

MAB Community Services is seeking a Community Living Specialist in Somerville, MA to assist clients with daily living activities, meal preparation, and emotional support. This part-time role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and experience working with individuals with disabilities. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred. This position offers 12-16 hours of work per week.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities/acquired brain injury.
• Fluency in a second language is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior.
