Job summary

Crystal Care Collection is seeking caring and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team and help residents live with dignity, independence and happiness each day. You will provide physical, emotional and social support, assisting with personal care, meals and meaningful activities to make every day special for residents in our home.

We value a compassionate, patient and team-focused approach. No prior care experience is required, as full training will be provided, and sponsorship is not offered

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each resident's needs.
• Support personal care, mobility, nutrition and hydration while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and provide companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and hobbies to enhance wellbeing.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and report concerns; maintain accurate care records.
• Respect and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Support residents to attend appointments and outings as required.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment including light housekeeping and bedroom preparation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive, caring atmosphere throughout the home.
• Comply with health and safety, infection prevention and all relevant care legislation.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the General Manager.
