Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. invites a part-time Student Wellness Promotion Assistant to Harper College. The role supports mental health programs for students and staff, helping create promotional materials and wellness events.

Under supervision of the Director of Mental Health and Well-Being Services, you will plan tabling activities, collaborate with student clubs, and promote wellness initiatives campus-wide, with evening and weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Harper College student enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three in summer).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required.
• Art and design background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing wellness programs and promotional campaigns (posters, social media, email, flyers).
• Support wellness event planning, logistics, execution, and assessment.
• Schedule and deliver educational tabling events, comfortable speaking one-on-one and in groups.
• Provide peer wellness support and help create social wellness activities (Buddy System).
• Help develop strategies to increase awareness and participation from diverse campus populations.
• Collaborate with Harper student clubs and other Harper departments.
