Job summary

CSU Stanislaus Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) seeks a temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant to support CAPS operations under the supervision of CAPS staff. Duties include promoting mental health awareness, coordinating campus events, sharing resources, and assisting in wellness workshops and outreach.

The role emphasizes collaboration with campus departments, confidentiality, and commitment to inclusion, equity, and accessibility in all CAPS activities.

Qualifications

• Undergrad students must be enrolled in at least 6 Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be enrolled in at least 4 Fall/Spring units.

Responsibilities

• Promote mental health awareness and CAPS services through peer-to-peer engagement.
• Participate in campus events and collaborations.
• Share resources and educational materials on mental health and wellness.
• Assist in planning and facilitating wellness-focused workshops and events.
• Coordinate logistics for workshops including room reservations and attendance.
