University of West Georgia (UWG) is seeking a Student Assistant - UWG Tour Guide to welcome prospective students and guests on campus tours at UWG Recruiting Location. This part-time temporary role supports Undergraduate Admissions and Strategic Enrollment Management and requires student leadership for campus events.

Ideal candidates are enrolled at UWG with a 2.5+ GPA, hold a valid driver’s license, and can commit to 3 shifts weekly (9am-12pm, 1-4pm, Monday–Friday) at Carrollton and Newnan

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at UWG.
• 2.5 GPA required.
• Driver’s license to operate university vehicles.
• Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts during the week (9am-12pm and 1-4pm Monday through Friday).
• Seeking a Tour Guide for both the Carrollton and Newnan locations.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically welcome and interact with all prospective students and guests on campus tours.
• Assist and support in campus events for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Strategic Enrollment Management (Fall and Spring Showcases, Admitted Students Day, etc.).
• Attend Discovery Days for campus tour improvement and Skills Trainings.
• Participate in potential social media videos and content with Admissions Marketing team.
• Prepare for daily campus tours and events.
• Serve as a student leader and representative of UWG and the Strategic Enrollment Management department.
• Other duties as assigned to support daily tours and events.
