Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required per state/local rules.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly with campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting suspicious behavior.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports with stakeholders.
