Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Palisades, NY to safeguard a campus environment and provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to concerns following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screening will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and campus concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of campus buildings, grounds, and entry points.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized access.
• Complete required reports and communicate with campus contacts and emergency responders.
