Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Nashville, TN. The role offers flexible scheduling with fixed anchor shifts at a designated site and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with a schedule that includes daytime and evening shifts. This position builds a foundation for a potential full-time career with a leading security services provider in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following campus protocols.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Prepare incident reports and logs as required by Allied Universal and site rules.
