Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a part-time facilities groundskeeper to maintain campus grounds in Kokomo, Logansport, and Peru. Duties include lawn care, seasonal snow removal, and event setup, with a pay range of $15–$16 per hour for up to 28 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Valid drivers license and authorization to drive college vehicles.
• Willingness to obtain commercial applicator certification.
• Willingness to participate in Ivy Tech Building Construction Apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular grounds and landscaping maintenance across campus locations.
• Seasonal duties include leaf removal, salting, and snow shoveling.
• Remove trash and debris from campus grounds and entrances.
• Maintain lawn care and snow removal equipment.
• Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, snowblowers and related equipment.
• Assist with furniture setup for campus events.
• Report safety or maintenance issues to the facilities team.
