Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds without assistance (in excess of 50 pounds with assistance).
• Working knowledge of custodial methods, practices, equipment and materials.
• General knowledge of cleaning chemicals and methods; ability to repair equipment to keep it in good order.
• Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and building entrances.
• Perform floor care, furniture cleaning, trash and recycling removal, and restroom supply replenishment.
• Support post-construction cleanup, emergency cleaning, and special custodial projects.
• Maintain windows, stairwells, exterior walkways, and campus facilities for a clean appearance.
• Report maintenance needs and assist with securing campus facilities.
