Job summary

Café Yumm! PSU Rec Center is seeking a Part-time Restaurant Shift Leader to supervise team members on all restaurant stations and deliver exceptional service on each shift.

The role emphasizes leadership, timely execution, and maintaining quality in a fast-paced environment. The position requires 18+ and strong English communication, with opportunities for advancement and participation in subsidies for training and certifications.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in customer service.
• Sufficient command of English to order and receive product, check against delivery sheet, communicate orders, and read the POS system.

Responsibilities

• Train others on all stations: cashier, deluxe bar, dishwasher, expeditor, food prep, grill/salads, starts/hot bar.
• Provide service that is remarkable, memorable, fun, and informative.
• Count registers and ensure money is accurate.
• Follow procedures to ensure opening and closing are done properly.
• Direct and motivate Team Members throughout shift to ensure operational excellence.
