Job summary

United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County (UWABC) seeks a part-time Campaign Associate to support workplace fundraising campaigns and donor cultivation within the Resource Development team. You will manage relationships with businesses, donors, and volunteers under the Associate Director’s guidance, contributing to UWABC's equity-centered philanthropic goals.

The role is a 10–11 week, part-time position (up to 20 hours/week) with occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years in fundraising, sales, marketing, or volunteer management with public speaking experience
• Flexible schedule; able to cover evenings or weekends as needed
• Commitment to UWABC principles and mission

Responsibilities

• Implement workplace fundraising campaign strategies
• Ask for employee and corporate contributions through presentations
• Serve as project manager for portfolio tasks
• Represent UWABC at campaign events
• Educate employees on investing in UWABC for Youth Opportunity and Community Resiliency
• Build and deepen relationships with business partners and workplace donors
• Maintain workplace and donor profiles in CRM and research accounts
• Assist events to engage donors and keep campaign materials organized
