Job summary

Spring Lake Park Schools is seeking a Part-Time Nutrition Services Associate at the Westwood Campus. This temporary, entry-level role handles food prep, serving, cashier duties, and dishwashing while ensuring a safe, friendly dining environment for students and staff.

Start date is immediate. The shift runs 8:15 AM–2:00 PM, 5.75 hours per day. Wage is $20.30 per hour with sick leave benefits and a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and pre-work physical are required.
• 3 professional references must be provided.
• Must have basic computer/email skills.
• Experience in food service is preferred.
• Must pass a background check and job-related training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep, serving, cashier duties and dishmachine operation.
• Maintain a friendly, professional attitude with students and staff.
• Attend required training sessions (4 hours/year) to meet standards.
• Follow SOPs and HACCP guidelines for safe operations.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation per Minnesota Food Code.
