Job summary

Theater Outsource is seeking an entry-level Rigging CAD Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with theatrical technical degrees and CAD training and will create safe, practical rigging CAD submittal drawings.

The role involves analyzing specifications, working with the Project Manager to complete drawings on time, and providing post-install CAD support for as-built sets. The position targets those with strong 2D CAD skills.

Qualifications

• Read and analyze specifications and drawings and take accountability for all technical aspects to create comprehensive, practical and safe theatrical rigging submittal CAD drawing sets.
• Work with the Project Manager and Engineering to complete drawings and calculations on time and within scope.
• Provide post installation CAD support for as-built drawing sets.

Responsibilities

• Create and review rigging CAD drawings and submittal packages for theater installations.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure drawings meet schedule and scope.
• Support as-built documentation after installation.
