Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in Chicago, IL is seeking part-time team members to assist servers and cocktail servers, reset tables, and maintain a clean dining area. You will interact with guests and fellow staff in a polite, professional manner to ensure gracious hospitality.

The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and work a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, including in-venue busser training, and previous hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to move quickly.
• Able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Servers & Cocktail Servers in guest service and table resets.
• Interact with guests and staff in a polite, courteous manner.
• Deliver, fill, and re-fill water as requested.
• Clear and reset tables and maintain cleanliness of stations and surrounding areas.
• Comply with health and sanitation standards and safety procedures.
• Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings and training sessions.
