Job summary

Columbus Technical College is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor for the Business Technology program. The role involves preparing lesson plans, evaluating student progress, and supporting recruitment and orientation activities across service areas including Muscogee, Stewart, Quitman, and surrounding counties.

The successful candidate will typically hold a Master’s Degree in the teaching discipline or a related concentration and may require MOS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in teaching discipline (i.e. Business, IT, Instructional Design) or equivalent with concentration.
• MOS (Microsoft Office Suite) certification or willingness to test within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers effective instructional programs and instruction to class members.
• Ensures adherence to college and safety requirements in classrooms and labs by following procedures.
• Selects and obtains appropriate educational materials for courses.
• Maintains syllabi, lesson plans, tests, and other course work; monitors supplies and equipment.
• Assists with recruiting, marketing, registration and orientation activities.
• Participates in curriculum development and college-sponsored activities as required.
• Supports special events, projects, and activities.
