Responsibilities

  • Delivers effective instructional programs and instruction to class members.
  • Ensures adherence to college and safety requirements in classrooms and labs by following procedures.
  • Selects and obtains appropriate educational materials for courses.
  • Maintains syllabi, lesson plans, tests, and other course work; monitors supplies and equipment.
  • Assists with recruiting, marketing, registration and orientation activities.
  • Participates in curriculum development and college-sponsored activities as required.
  • Supports special events, projects, and activities.

Under general supervision, this individual will prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction; evaluate students’ progress in attaining goals, objectives, and student learning outcomes. Further requirements include student retention, and student recruitment. This position requires day, night, evening, and on-line instruction.
