Job summary

West Georgia Technical College is seeking an online adjunct instructor to deliver a 3-credit course in the Business Technology field. The instructor will design syllabi, leverage current technology, and evaluate student progress in an online setting.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree in Business Education or related field with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline; PhD is preferred. Prior postsecondary and online teaching experience is desired.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business Education or related field with 18 graduate hours in teaching.
PhD in teaching discipline preferred.
Teaching experience at the postsecondary level and online teaching experience preferred.
Certifications in IC3 or Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

Provide instruction for the theory and practical applications of the discipline.
Prepare course syllabi using provided templates.
Utilize current technology in the online classroom.
Evaluate student progress and provide timely grades.
Maintain required documentation and reports.
Collaborate with faculty to assess and improve student learning outcomes.
