Job summary

The University of Washington Bothell School of Business invites applications for Lecturer Part-Time positions (50% FTE or greater) for 9-month appointments in 2026-2027. Successful candidates will teach undergraduate Business courses on-site in Bothell, WA.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in business with an undergraduate degree in relevant field, or
• A Master’s degree in relevant field
• A doctoral degree in business (Ph.D. or DBA), or foreign equivalent, with a major/minor/concentration in the relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver rigorous course content consistent with the academic standards of the University of Washington
• Coordinate regularly with the Area Coordinator and the School of Business administration
• Use effective teaching strategies and appropriate methods for student learning evaluation
• Communicate course expectations clearly and provide timely feedback to students
• Hold regular office hours
• Use appropriate instructional technologies
• Submit course grades by the University deadlines
