Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Erie is seeking a part-time Bus Driver for our childcare programs at our Eastside YMCA location. You must be patient, dependable, and enjoy working with children. A CDL with S endorsement and knowledge of PA streets are required.

This flexible role offers weekend-free scheduling and a competitive hourly rate. As a Part-time Bus Driver at our Erie area locations, you will transport children safely, follow routes, and maintain schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid PA CDL license with S endorsement.
• DOT physical annually.
• Safe driving record.
• Criminal and child abuse clearances.
• No alcohol within 8 hours prior to operating a school bus.
• Pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Transport school bus passengers between stops and schools according to routes.
• Provide safe transportation when loading and unloading passengers.
• Maintain route schedules and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Adhere to YMCA standards and government regulations while ensuring child safety.
