Job summary

Landon School is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Bus Driver to join its community focused on the intellect, health, and happiness of boys. In this role, you will ensure safe transportation while adhering to all traffic regulations and at all times providing excellent service to students.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL class A or B with passenger (P) endorsement and (S) school endorsement required.
• Experience driving a school bus preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely along designated routes
• Obey traffic laws, safety procedures, and transit regulations
• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations
• Follow a specific timetable while on duty
• Communicate with passengers and employers regarding delays or any issues along a route
• Check the bus tires, lights, and oil when needed for basic maintenance

The expected rate of pay for this position is between $25.00-$35.00 per hour.
