Job summary

Kids for the Future in Moraine, OH, seeks a Part-time Building Maintenance Assistant to perform skilled maintenance, repair, painting and cleaning of city buildings and recreation facilities, with duties under supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, construction, carpentry, and HVAC is a plus.

A High School diploma or GED and/or four years of related experience and training are required.

• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required; random drug screenings may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Properly and safely use equipment and tools, and ensure a safe work environment.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and supplies and report needs to supervisor.
• Coordinate with city staff and contractors for maintenance projects.
• Drive City vehicles as needed for tasks and programs.
• Assist in setting up and taking down equipment for park and recreation events.
