Job summary

Bevara Building Services is seeking a Part-Time Building Engineer to maintain the Williston, North Dakota property and safeguard it against damage. You’ll be proactive, versatile, and ready to handle a range of trades.

You will inspect building systems, perform routine repairs, manage work orders for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, and coordinate with vendors while upholding our safety standards and professional standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred 3–5 years of experience in commercial building operations.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and make independent decisions.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with smartphones and work order systems.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments of building systems.
• Perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to service requests for building equipment.
• Manage work order requests related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
• Proactively maintain an ongoing task list for the property management team.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendors, overseeing check-in/out and documenting work.
• Assist with fire panel and extinguisher inspections.
• Ensure a safe job site and adhere to safety standards.
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner consistent with our values.
