Job summary

Grainger in Madison Heights, MI is hiring a Branch Sales Associate for the part-time, first shift. You will interact with walk-in customers, guide product selections, and process orders while also handling warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, and loading for customers.
• Look for opportunities to maximize sales and build customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for emails, calls, or in-person interactions.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipments.
• Prepare backorders and restock received inventory.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts and keep records accurate.
• Navigate multiple computer systems for customer and warehouse tasks.
• Maintain branch appearance and comply with safety standards.
